I've been playing game since i was no age, and since i reached the age when i started thinking about careers/jobs it has always been something ive thought about, I have many ideas, and would consider myself to be quiet creative, does anyone know, how I would get into this line of work, it not exactly like you can walk into the local job centre and apply for square enix... any help is really appreciated, so thank you inadvance...

Suggest you try writing to them. There are a number in the UK, many of them in a 50 mile radius of Birmingham. You will know who the key games designers are. The competition for such jobs is stiff - you almost certainly need to have a good understanding of programming.
