The minimum wage
2 Answers
I read an article saying that for those over 22 it would rise to 5.35 an hour from October 2006.
This was a recomendation by the low pay commission, does anyone know if the government has taken this on board and it will happen?

For most people, that means the rate goes up from Sunday, 1 October. For someone who gets paid fortnightly or 4-weekly, the new rate doesn't come into effect until the start of the first full pay period which commences on, or after, 1 October.
