What Did I Get Wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a plea from a little kitten's heart.To all setters and sellers of quizzes ...Please, please, please can I have my original quiz returned. I have had three returns in the past week.They have kindly included a set of answers ... this is usually useless to me unless I can remember which ones I got wrong.I find this more infuriating than getting them wrong in the first place. If setters returned a marked quiz this would not only pacify me, but would save on paper and printing costs.I have even started writing 'Please Return Original Quiz' on it but it must become invisible whilst travelling in our postal system. Sorry to moan ... (twice in a week now) ... fellow ABers but the knowledge that I can't work out which questions I got wrong is driving me ... round the twist ...
Am I the only miserable kitten out there in the big wide world or do I have a soul-mate. Double kisses to follow to make up for my moaning xx xx

Hi Earthakitten. Would it be possible for you to take a copy of your quiz before you send it in? I keep my rough version to check off the answers to see where I went wrong.

I always make copies before I send them in. Well I make copies to do the crossword or quiz then fill in the original to send it off.

And I assume you always send an SAE? Why should the setter pay for your postage...?

Whilst I was having a little moan, I was not moaning at you Quizmonkey so I certainly do not appreciate your tone with me. Arabesque and JimJools may or may not agree with me but have had the decency to reply courteously and with a suggestion. This would be an option but as I print hundreds of sheets every month for the benefit of others, having to copy every quiz I send in does put up my own printing costs.

Also Quizmonkey, do you really think I would expect any setter to pay my postage ... please give me a little more credit than that. I always send a sae with a request for the return of the original. What's wrong with that ?
I have been an ABer for several months now and this is the first time anyone has been rude to me . In the past I think I have been light hearted, kind, helpful and constructive and I will admit to giving a couple of bum answers, but rude and confrontational NEVER.
I am now off to lick my wounds and will submit without my usual sign off !

I have quizzes from last DECEMBER onwards waiting answers in my stamped addressed envelopes,have they steamed my stamps off??I wonder.If we enter and pay and send a SAE it is only right that we get a reply.I have been threatening not to enter any more quizzes. I sometimes wonder when no replies come if they are all genuine.(that is my other side) the one I do not like really,but it makes me think some times.

It could be that your entries are not opened. I think that once they have a winning entry they stop opening the rest, not much point in continuing. So your SAE will then be dumped.

Well I must have been lucky. I have never not got my quiz back so far. I agree the answers on their own arent much good. Mind you as my writing is so poor I always type my answers and then attach printed sheet to quiz instead of filling in quiz sheet and then of course I have a copy of answers anyway.

OH MY GOD !!!! Have I opened a can of worms, or what. Thanks, on the whole, for your replies. I really didn't mean to question anyone's honesty.As far as AB is concerned I have always received something back in my sae, just sometimes it has not been what I wanted. I never meant to suggest that anyone kept my sae !
Everyone who I have sent for a quiz from, or sent a quiz to have been great. I am now beginning to feel like public enemy No 1. All I hope is, that fellow setters understand what I was trying to get at! At the risk of further damaging my good record, thus far on AB, I will depart for my supper ... I may be gone some time ! ... xx
