Speaking from experience, the department you will be working with will teach you everything you need to know. There is nothing better than hands on experience. I think there is way too much to know and find it hard to believe there is a webiste that can give you all of the up to date procedures and give it accurately and completely. Thats just my opinion of course.
Agree with peanut, in this field experience is the best teacher.

Damn, that is the second time I've agreed with peanut this year.... I must be loosing my touch.
dont forget to whinge every month or so about not getting paid enough while those overpaid nurses walk by
bobtheturkey, that's not fair - they both do an invaluable job and one isn't paid less because of anything the other does.
If you're looking for educational websites in general you could do a lot worse than start with the BBC site, and bobtheturkey - that was well out of order. Everyone agrees nurses should get more but then would you risk your life for what a firefighter gets?
If your a trainee the most brigades have an internal website that will have every piece of information you should need. you wont find much of the stuff i think your after on the web. ((www.moosh.co.uk)) has some information though.
