Hi!! i'm 14 and want to do shelf stacking in one of my local supermarkets, i know the hours i am able to work and the average wage at that age but am i old enough at 14???? If so how do i apply???? anyone who has or did have a job like that and can give advice? Same question but can i work in a caf�

the simple answer is, look in the phone book for the number of your local supermarket give them a ring and ask for personnell or recruitment, ask them regarding any vacancies or issues regarding your age.
you could even call into your supermarket and speak to customer services.

Most supermarkets now won't let you work if you are under 16 years of age. Morrisons aslo specify that even if you are 16 you cannot apply until the June or July of the year that you would leave high school or after.
