Staff rooms

Can anyone tell me if there are any laws on staff rooms in the work place. Should there be a seperate room for lunch breaks etc.

It's in the dim and distant past now but I think I can remember hearing there shuld be daylight entering the room. -may be an outdated law now though......... ?
