careers in banking/finance/

Are there any London based companies that will take on non graduates with a view to studying for finance/accountancy qualifiactions? My son is studying with the OU and has 3 good A levels including maths but doesn't want to go to university.
He is very numerate, hard working and keen to get on.

I work in finance and have done since i left college! I have no finance qualifications. I signed up to Accountancy Additions and Huntres Serch agencies and told them what type of work i wanted to do and they have found me all my jobs. Try signing up to an agency who will be able to sell his best points to the people who are looking for an employee. It helps if he is willing to learn as i am now studing for my accountancy qualifications and my place of work are paying for it!

Hello - you could try State Street Bank - a US based bank in Canary Wharf. They used to take on non graduates and graduates and offered very good training in financial services www.statestreet.com. I worked there after Uni 9 years ago and I know they still recuit decent candidates with good A levels but no degree...could be worth a try ! Other than that it's worth a word with a few of the agencies such as Badenoch & Clark - Good Luck !
