Adverts with a negative influence

What adverts do you feel have a negative influence on society as a whole? Do you feel advertising can be partly blamed for people getting into debt, having eating disorders etc?

Any of those companies that encourage us to sue in the event of an accident. Pretty soon we'll be as litigious as the Americans.

I agree with the Injury Lawyers 4 You Comment. The Americans go a little over the top with their sueing, but no tall of them I must say, seeing as I'm american, but yea, it does encourage sueing after an accident.

All ads like that suck. No wonder School trips are on the fall, why the public wont help an injured person. I once helped pull a guy out of a car that he had spun at 100mph+ on a dual carriageway while drunk. I was recommended to take personal advice in case he tried to sue as it was so easy to! Tempting to have left him in the thing when it went up.

On the subject of the National Accident Helpine one, I dont get it. The guy says he's driving towards a bus stop where there are loads of kids so he SLOWS DOWN?
Aren't most bus stops in 30mph zones or less? Surely the guy would therefore be doing around 20 mph? No way is he going to get a 'serious injury' hitting a moveable object at that speed. To be seriously injured he would have had to have hit a brick wall or a landmine!
I also like the bit at the end of the ad where he drives past the new bus stop (Which wouldnt get moved from just one accident!) and he takes his eyes off the road. No wonder he pranged his last ride. hehe
