It is not unreasonable that someone reading it assumed you are looking for help to make up qualifications that seem plausible to a prospective employer, for example.
Rather than calling loosehead stupid, why not rewrite it to tell us a bit more about why you are asking the question. It will look more genuine and someone may actually be able to help you.

I had a similar problem when I had to provide proof of my qualifications from 1973!
I contacted AQA, and they have all the records on file, but they do make a charge.

Ok so try and give us a chance to answer what your question really is. Are you not claiming that you think you left school with some qualifications and you can't remember what they are or are you saying that you think you should have got some for turning up, evidently quite infrequently, i.e. some sort of default, that you are not aware if?
You see Jules I have given thousands of answers on here, if you want a sensible answer the onus is on you to provide a cogent legible question. Thanks Antiguru by the way.

For an example of how constructive I can be when the questioner has the courtesy to ask a coherant, if perhaps slightly naive question:

If you simply want written proof of your qualifications, ask the schools you attended which examination boards they were linked up to (assuming they haven't changed over the years). Then write to the examination boards, giving details of the years you attended the school and your full name (plus your maiden name if you have subsequently married). Am not sure how far back they keep their records though.
