Hi, can anyone tell me what recruitment agencies organisations like the Home Office/the Met Police etc contact to take on temporary admin and support staff. I have recently done a criminology degree and am trying to get into such places, but like many other students do not have the correct experience. Therefore I wish to register with some relevant recruitment agencies to "get my foot in the door" so-to-say. Any help would be v v v appreciated!!!!

Couldn't find any recruitment agencies bar the first link but why not try contacting some of the major ones and see if they can help or point you in the right direction such as Hays...

Why not ask if you could do some work experience or work as a special constable or volunteer to gain some experience and some contacts or ask about graduate recruitment schemes?

Try joining as a Custody visitor or try BLUEHEELERS web site for temp jobs. GSL ltd also run custody block staff with Group 4 and Reliance in the south.

The combined courts have clerical jobs as court clerks etc. Try your local court and talk to the staff recruiters.

Good Luck
