Postgraduate results classifications
2 Answers
Can somebody tell me how the results for postrgraduate degrees are graded. I am doing some research to see if a postgraduate degree in sociology would be beneficial and have read that most universities class results as either-distinctions, merits and pass.
But i have also looked at potential job vacancies and the majority of them want someone who has a postgraduate degree but it does not class a particular grade (like vacancies which may want an undergraduate with, e.g. a 2:1 degree).
Also, some vacancies want someone who has a "pass" in a postgraduate...does this mean that the distinction/merit/pass criteria does not apply here.
I'm confused.........
Any help would be appreciated.
