Whats wrong with Cleaner? Its honest and people understand it to be hard work. If you use something else they might think youre a) full of airs and graces or b) ashamed of what you did.

Plain English works best on CVs.
Domestic Technician.
Dust Eraser
I'd keep it simple - I hate made up titles for jobs. Concentrate on telling them how well you did the job, punctuality, reliability etc etc rather than making up a fancy title that wont impress anyone.

ok..kool.i just find people judge u wen u say cleaner. at the end of the day it was a job 2 support myself through college, and well.at least i worked. i know so many people who just claim benefits cos they cant be bothered 2 work.. but anyway. thanks.
hygiene assistant?
Antiguru (above) has the answer. You were a cleaner -
it was other folks who made it dirty, not you.

Frankly, I'd never employ a self-titled 'Hygiene
Operative' or 'Sanitation Executive' etc., but I'd go out
of my way to employ a genuine cleaner.

Me ? I'd sweep the streets gladly, rather than be
parasitic. I admire genuine workers, and so do most
employers. Stick to your guns, cleaner-lady.
