Give me a challenge

Hi I am 19, male & need a challange. I got 6 GCSE's and grade C and hardly went to school. I have an NVQ in Business Admin. I have worked as an Insurance Broker, Book keeper, Kitchen fitter & more recently a labourer. I need a challenge but have no idea where to go. Since i have been laid-off, i have found it hard to find inspiration. I cannot afford to go back to school full-time.
If anyone at all has any ideas of things i could do it would be much appreciated.

Book an appointment with the Connexions advisor at your local job centre - they're geared up to helping young people and they may have some great suggestions for you.

Have you thought about joining the Armed Forces. There are loads of opportunities for you including gaining some great qualifications. The pay is good and its a great way of deciding what you really want to do and what direction you want to take. Lots of people also do OU degrees whilst working in the forces, all you need to do is check them out on the internet or pop into your local armed forces careers office. Think about it - Good Luck !

Thanks for your help. I appreciate you guys taking time-out to help people out. I think i will join the army, not for the pay though. I hit the gym this week and should be fit enough (thingers-crossed) soon. All the best, Jason
