University course crisis
3 Answers
I have no idea what to do at university or if I should go at all:( I've always just assumed that I would go to uni as I've always been in top sets for everything, got good GCSEs... etc. I enjoy and am good at science - chemistry and biology but I also really enjoy art and designing. I really want a course which combines science and art/design, but I can't seem to think of any. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help....

If you think you'd like to go but still aren't sure what to study, see if you can get along to one or two university open days and have a chat with the staff there.
As for combinations - what about landscape design? That probably wouldn't even need a degree.

See a careers advisor at college and have a chat with them - and remember that university isn't for everybody.
I left college twice and wasted two years of my life before I worked out what I wanted to do. Most of my friends are in their final year at uni and I'm only just starting, but I don't regret spending a few years out of education because as I say, it helped me realise what i wanted to do with the rest of my life and now I'm about to start training to be a nurse.
There are so many things you can do at university nowadays, order a few prospectuses and go to a few open days, see if anything jumps out at you.
