Hi my son is 22yrs old, he is quite bright and at the moment he is working abroad with a travelling show and he helps to move and organise the 'get in and get out' of the equipment that is needed to put the show on.He is seeing the world and generally having a good time, the problem is that he doesn't want to be doing this for ever and wants to come back home and get a 'normal' job, this is where the problem lies,he doesn't know what he wants to do.My question is where should he go too to get advice from a professional on careers.

My hubby started out doing this six years ago and now helps manage the venue.

There are plenty of opportunities in theatrical and technical management, and also in band and tour management if he wants to stay in this field.
yes like saxy_jag said there are other areas, has he thought about production.
with his experience he could even move into film and tv and be uk based (unless its an overseas shoot!)
Most people would love a job like his, belive me I get loads of cvs a day to try and get work in the film & tv industry.
