Mobile phone contract details
3 Answers
I have always had a PAYG Mobile, but have decided to get myself a contract.I have found the phone I want, and the company are doing a special deal at the moment where the normal 35 per month line rental is half price for 16 months if I take an 18 month contract.I have just been checking out the contract details on the website, and it has the following message,
Your FREE 16 months half price line rental is available in 5 stages: 50.00 at month 6, 57.50 at month 9, 57.50 at month 12, 57.50 at month 15, 57.50 at month 18,
I dont quite understand what this means. To me, half price means that I pay 17.50 for 16 months, and 35 for 2 months.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

What actually happens is that you pay the full rental of 35 every month and then you send in vouchers at set points through trhe contract and you get a rebate.
At the end of the contract you have effectively paid 17.50 a month.
But if you lose the vouchers or forget to redeem the rebate within a set time you lose the money so keep a careful eye on the account
