i posed a question a while back about my brother evicting me and my wife from our family home. Me being in my 60s, you can imagine i need this like a hole in the head, i have now been informed that i do not qualify for leagal aid and to say i,m upset would be an understatement. Why does it seem that the honest people in this world get shafted while the greedy dishonest people get away with whatever they want. Then with a wry smile the solicitor hands me my 2500 bill, how i could do with judge john deed right now, but i dont suppose theres anyone like that left in our legal system !!! is there ???

It is very sad but true that to afford legal advice today you need to be very wealthy or very poor.

Hope it all ends well for you.
Presumably the issue is that you and your brother co-own a house (in which you live)

and if two co-owners can't erm agree with what is to be done, then a judge will order the sale of the house and it to be split down the middle

In terms of Justice what is wrong with that ?

IF your parents wanted you t have security of tenure then it could have been made clear in a will.
