What sort of qualifications do you need to have to get on this course at University?
How long is the course?
What are the job prospects after the course?

If you want to become an optometrist, the following applies:

Answer to Q1:
At least 5 GCSE (A-C0 passes, including English, Maths and a science subject. Plus 3 A-levels in science subject or mathematics. The required A-level grades are typically an A and two Bs.

Answer to Q2:
3 years for the degree course, plus onefurther year of work-based study.

Answer to Q3:

Great question. The first qualification would be you would have to have good eyesight. Hope this helps.
