Hi what is the best thing to do with an anonymous letter received from the USA - it had been opened and resealed by their postal service as there was a mistake on the postcode - I think I know who it came from what should I do?

Why do you want to do anything other than bin it? I take it the contents are unsavoury in some way? can you give us a bit more to go on without going into too much detail??

there is a veiled threat that if I do something then this person will contact other people about something that happened many years ago. Its a bit complicated I'm afraid! I'm inclined to put it away and see if anything else turns up as you suggest the best thing would be to bin it but it was a bit of a shock to read this morning. I'm begining to calm down a bit now and be a bit more rational Thanks.
don't bin it. it could be evidence in the future,
Sorry to hear that! Keep it somewhere safe incase the worst were to happen; whatever this may be!
Come on lets have some details!!! your secret is safe with us, we wont tell a soul!!!
