Does anybody know of a free online CV writing service, the sort where you fill in the blank spaces and you end up with a proffesional looking document, i've googled "free CV" and only seem to come up with pages and pages of services that charge you for it, i'm not to clever with MS office and feel a better looking document will be produced this way.. Thanks, Si

Alternatively, for something even smarter, Microsoft Word has some useful templates. (I'm using Word 2002. Your version might be slightly different).
Go to File > New > New from Template > General Templates.
If your version of Word is similar to mine, you should be able to choose between 'Contemporary Resume', 'Elegant Resume' and 'Professional Resume'. They all look very smart; all you have to do is to delete the fictitious information and substitute your own. Lastly, there's also a 'Resume Wizard' which lets you design your own layout, but it's far simpler to use one of the ready-made templates.
