Law as a mature student

How feasible is it to pick up a law career in your late 30s - ie start with an LLB degree so you wouldnt be going into teh job market until you were 40ish.
Is this practically do-able? Any experience anyone?

When I did my law degree the ages of the people on my course ranged from 18 year old school leavers to people in their 50's!!! It was a really good mix and the life experience and skills learnt of those that were older tended to give them an advantage, which is probably how future employers would look upon it too.
