My 37th birthday this year;I want to have fireworks who would allow me to use a venue?
Last year for my 36th birthday I managed to get use of a country pub (which sadly went under this year) to have and let off some BS7114 retail garden and display fireworks from a reputable company on my birthday and I put on a really good display of 30mins, there were NO accidents and I wore personal protective equipment while firing it(a hardhat with built-in ear defenders and clear visor, which is sensible advice when firing a large display) and it all passed off well. Does anybody in Accrington or North East Lancashire on this forum know who has a private venue or field who doesn't mind fireworks and could let me use it for this one purpose? Private premises are better as long as you have the permission of the venue owner to use, and as long as you don't invite the general public, is free of the red tape that public venues tend to be tied up in ie getting public liability insurance, having talks with the fire brigade/police etc, sorting out stewards etc, roping off and other necessities you need if doing it on public or council owned land. If held on private premises all you have to do is warn residents nearby and let the police know of it;date/location/time/duration. Can someone help? The date for it is Saturday August 11th or any of the following 2 weekend saturdays if wet.
