how do i go about getting on 1 of these courses?

Er . . . it might help if you told us what type of site you want to supervise! I train site supervisors to carry out traffic surveys for county councils and government agencies but I doubt that's what you're referring to :-)

If it's in the rail industry (i.e. you want a COSS certificate), simply look in 'Rail News' (which can be found in almost every mess room within the industry); there are plenty of training courses advertised.

If it's within the construction industry, contact the CITB information centre. You can phone them on 01485 577682 or e-mail them at [email protected].

If it's some other type of site, please post again and I'll try to point you in the right direction.
