Help With Process of Invention

I cannot reveal a lot about this invention as it is still top secret and has fallen on my family's lap by pure luck, but how would I go about introducing this to interested parties, etc who's occupations would be revolutionised by the patented invention? I am but a young lad and am really not sure of how this would be done. I am also not the inventor but my family has been told that they are in charge of marketing the invention (which has been made abroad)? I am so terribly vexxed.
