Which language course is better for GCSE? Russian or German?

I took german as my language course but I really want to do Russian now, I don't know wether to stick to german or change to russian?
Which one do you think is best?
And which one can help me with a good career, and most impressive and important?

If English is your first language, you will find German easier to learn than Russian, as both English and German are Teutonic languages, whereas Russian is a slavic language. Russian also uses a completely different alphabet. German is less alien to English than Russian is.

Other than that, neither is 'better' or more impressive. As for which one is more useful to you, that depends on what your own plans are. Do you want to work abroad? German will be useful in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, whereas Russian would be useful in Russia and the former Soviet countries.
