Academic references

I'm going to apply for a masters degree, and they require two academic references. As it's now 6 years since I graduated, I don't quite know what to do.

My undergraduate course no longer exists, the department has been renamed and the university has merged with another, and my personal tutor has gone to a different country, I could still contact him, and that would be one reference. It's harder to think of a second referee who would still remember me!

What do people normally do in these situations?
