Have you considered Learn Direct or even an Open University course?
What type of evening course? Colleges or Universities will have their own sites with what is available, but if it is the more casual thing - like picture framing etc - these are usually run through the council, so you would be best going to them. I know that edinburgh has a big night class programme. If you go onto council websutes and try to find either their learning area or what's on area.
Hi Queenbee

I work for a college and I can give you as much information as you need about evening classes. Whereabouts do you want to study, which college? I can email you information if you like.
Your local public library will probably have details of the full range of adult education classes available in your area.

thanks guys thats all really helpful, its a cookery class in the evening Im looking for, I did a bit more research and found one in my area of Fife that starts in February so Ive sent them an email. Thanks again for answering
Check out your local college or high school many of them now run evening courses to bring in extra revenue.
If you earn under 18,000 you can apply for an ILA account and this will give you 200 you can spend on paying for a course - or you can use it to pay for many evening courses. You have to phone ILA and set up an account with them before you can apply for an evening class. If you phone any of the colleges you want to study at they can send out the prospectus to you and the application form. I would advise you to apply for an evening course asap because many of the courses start in Sep and you don't want to risk losing a place on the course.
