what qualifactions does someone have to have before they can become a registered childminder and claim the payment from the governement?

you dont always need qualifications before applying to be a registered childminder. a couple of years ago i wanted a change of career and be a childminder even though i had no experience in this field before as had worked with animals for 15 years. what i did was,i phoned up my local council to find out how to get into childminding. they then gave me an appointment to attend a meeting about childminding which they then give you booklets and details and discuss with you what it involves. a member of staff from ofsted will then come round to your house or where ever you will childmind children to ask questions and to make sure the place is suitable for children to be in. police checks will then be done on you as its proceedure to make sure you are who you are and you have no criminal records. ofsted will then contact you to let you know if they are happy for you to become a registered childminder and if yes they will help you on your way to work as a childminder and will also have to complete tasks involved.so first thing first is to get in touch with your council for details and phone numbers. good luck.

i forgot to mention that once you have done the important things first which is phoning the council about childminding and getting involved in that field of work, then if you want to do courses and gain more qualifications and experience in that field,then you can always do courses that you can study from home in your own time as that way you are continuing to learn more in your course work and more importantly got hands on experience. dont try to do too much at once though. the course work can wait,just get your foot in the door with the council,and the rest will follow. good luck and really hope it goes well for you in childminding,from pantz

Spaced, i dont see how it can be obvious its for gina, she could be asking because she wants to use a childminder or for a friend or a number of reasons. i see you have said some not nice things about her as well. must have really upset you lol maybe she said something you didnt like. never mind life is to short to be childish on this type of thing
