Adobe flash

My daughter is having problems with her laptop. One of these - she is trying to use the weightwatchers website and it wants her to download Adobe macromedia flash. She nor I have succeeded it reaches a point where it says to click on a gold bar at the top of browser window but we can't find one.
Can anyone help please?
She has XP & Norton (advised her to use AVG instead but was overruled!)

My guess it is certainly Norton that is causing this problem.

AVG alone will not replace norton, though, she will need a firewall as well - such as ZoneAlarm (free).

Try TEMPORARILY disabling norton.

Thanks Ethel I had my suspicions and her sister also advised much the same hopefully that will convince her. I will let you know
