Training to become a Doctor...

Is it possible for a 22 year old such as myself to train as a doctor in medicine with an ambition to become a GP? If so, how and where can I do this?

I know it take 6 years at Med School then an additional 3 years to train as a GP, but what else would i need to do?

You apply to a University which has a Medical School.
You will need to demonstrate a good grounding in sciences by suitable qualifications. You will need a source of funds too!
Plus have terrible handwriting, no dress sense whatsover and the ability to look smug/disinterested at the same time
We have two doctors in our family who're absolutely nothing like this at all!
