if any of my staff are of sick they get company sick pay for 4 weeks if employed under 3 years, 8 weeks 3-5 years and upwards.
It doesn;t matter how many hours a week they are contracted to.
after that preiod of company sick pay I think they have to go onto statutory sick pay.
The current rate of SSP is 72.55 and will rise to 75.40 a week from 6th April this year. The difference in the earnings figures of 84 and 87 quoted by the sites in IAPs answer is because they relate to 2006 and 2007 respectively
