Advertisement for above did not ask for formal qualifications, and as I am leaving my present job shortly I applied for it. I have had 40 years experience in industry as maintenance technician and raised a family of six. Is that not experience of life? Anyway, they know I am 57 but sent me the forms anyway, but said ideally, candidates should have relevant qualifications / experience working with young people. Well, there are many young people in industry.

an e2e life skills tutor I imagine would be looking for someone who can engage with young people, the young people on e2e programmes are likely to be ones who didn't engage at school, and have been NEET for a while, so working with the more challenging students and those who have issues.
Give it a go.,.. you never know
