joinery in london

hi im a joiner on building sites in yorkshire and as work has dried up due to houses not selling i was wondering if anybody knows if a)there is plenty of work in london or anywhere else and b)what the rates of pay are, i work on price work and dont mind working away if the prices are right ,thanks for any help and info.
