maternity leave

I have a situation where I am claiming maternity pay based on my self employment contributions.
I have read that you can work for up to ten days during maternity period without affecting maternity pay.
But , I also have a limited company and not claiming any maternity pay through it.
Can I work from home and get paid by the company without affecting the maternity pay I receive as self employed?.

The ten days you mention are called Keeping In Touch (KIT) days and ANY work even for 30 minutes counts as one day. Any work done in excess of the ten days whether as self-employed or employed will affect the payment of MA.
