Anyine remember this advert from the seventies? It was in Jackie every week! It was made to look like it had been written on a notepad with a pencil.

My mum used to be a screatary, and can write shorthand....Bloody indescribable to me though! Even after going to Uni, and having to write shortened words when taking notes. It's a whole different language!

it's not text speak, boo, it was meant to be good old fashioned short hand.
I thought - at the tender age of 13 - that I really could become a secretary - just because I understood it!
