getting help?

Hi everyone. My partner has also been in work but recently left his job as we had a baby. we had saved up money to live on before he left, but he would like to do a course to get qualified in something and as we dont really have enough to cover it as they are usually a few thousand can he get help from anywhere?

are both of you not working? if so, then can you arrange to look after the baby between you so that he can work and save up the money? or are you saying that he is looking after the baby while you are working? If that's the case then you'll just have to save up from your wages like everyone else.
The other option is to borrow the money (loan) and hope that he gets qualified and gets a job so he can pay it back
