Police Force HELP

I have just recently left university in which i studied architecture, left just after my 2nd year. I am now looking into the police force and would love to do forensics science but do not want to go back to university to study!!! I would like to be a driver for the police but how long do i need to be a police officer for. I am so confused can anybody help me!!!! What are my options ect can i just train up in the police or do i need all the qualifications they ask for?

Either way I think in leaving your uni course you really sent out the wrong signals..I as an employer would look very carefully at your CV, as I wouldn't want a quitter on my team.
You should have stuck it out, and at least got a degree and then looked at graduate intake with the Police.
You want to study Forensic's I assume, so a background in a science would be a start, but also get ready to study hard to get to where you want to be.
Why not contact your local Police headquarters and ask them for advice.

1. Forensics. The vast vast majority od forensic officers (CSI) are NOT police officers but civilian specialists. So you can't be both.
2, Police Drivers. Dependong on which force you join, and where you are based you could be trained up as a response driver straight away, or have to wait a year or two.
If you can give valid reasons why you didn't want to stay at university then the fact that you dropped out shouldn't affect you.
