If you consider that you have been unfairly dismissed, in the first instance you should get advice from your trade union (if you have one) or from a Citizens Advice Bureau. Also, see if your local Job Centre or library has any leaflets that may be of help to you. Bear in mind that, unless you have been employed for one year, you can only make a claim if you feel that you have been discriminated against because of your sex or race.
