lettings manager salary
3 Answers
My partner took accepted a job about 18 months ago now at lettings agency. Initially she was told she would have a pay review after 6 weeks ( probably to see if she was capable of the job) and then another review would take place 6 months later. As yet she hasn`t had a pay rise, totally runs the letting agent`s single handed and is on a meagre amount of 6 ph which isn`t alot for the amount of work that she does. Is there a basic salary for a letting agent manager

(There is a national minimum pay level, currently 4.50 per hour, but she's getting more than that.) I would suggest that your partner tries to find out what others doing a similar job in your locality are being paid; and, if she definitely thinks she is being underpaid, tries to put some pressure on her boss.

I hate to be picky, but apart from the "locality" part, isn't that what this question is aimed at doing?
In my mind the major "ammunition" that your partner could provide is how much "extra value" she adds to the business : whether this is in new clients or whatever... what would they lose if she left?
