pharmacy student - enhanced disclosure crb
2 Answers
I am a pharmacy student in the UK and am just about to start my second year of study. Approximately 3 years ago i foolishly sent a number of text messages to a person i had a dispute with which lead to me getting arrested and receiving a police caution for "racial" harassment.
I have just learned that sometime in my second year of study i will be required to submit a satisfactory enhanced crb disclosure and am worried that this will cause a problem with regards to me being able to continue my studies. I believe the pharmaceutical society are more concerned with dishonest behavior and violent acts however i am still very concerned.
The offense i committed was out of character and i have no history of harassment and just hope a silly mistake in anger does not prevent me from following my chosen career.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter or any relevant information. Thankyou

Dont worry, if you do or dont get the job, it will be on merits alone, they will not take into account something so trivial and minor. And even in the remote possibility they did bring it up, just explain as you did before , it was a mistake and out of character.
