First of all not sure if i have the right topic forum. I would like to go for my HGV class one license, however i have type 2 diabetes and diagnosed sleep apnoea, does anyone know if these will stop me from going for the license?, bearing in mind it is cotrolled via medication,diet and regular exercise.

I know someone who has cataplepsy and takes medication to control it, but his doctor won't sign for him as OK to drive - full stop. Perhaps it depends on the severity of the condition, and whether you have a driving licence to begin with. Have a word with your doctor, and I'm sure they'll give you some straight answers.
