...and having read the brief I realise that there's an awful lot of stuff I have to observe and remember. Memory being one of my weak spots I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips as to how I can succeed at this?
Thanks

I find that mnemonics can be useful. Google it. Hope it helps
Hi, I have been a mystery shopper for a few months now for various companies.

You don't say what type of assigment you are doing but to be honest you might struggle if memory is not one of your strong points. I have a pretty good memory and on occasion I have forgotten the most basic stuff, like noting the persons name or asking for a receipt - no receipt, no pay.

You aren't allowed to make notes whilst doing the shop so it is vital that you remember things.

Just read the brief loads before you go, I always quickly read mine again in the car just before I enter which ever place I am shopping. I also try and note down my results in the car as well otherwise I would have forgotten the answers by the time I get home!
as cheeky chops says, write every thing down.
