I know this doesn't sound as exotic as some of the other requests on this site, but I am wanting to get from Derby or Nottingham to Oxford, using only public transport (as in 'buses, not trains) Obviously, I am going to need to change a number of times, but can allow all day. Any help would be appreciated, with regard to possible routes I could try. Not holding out much hope, but it would be great if someone could suggest something!! Thank you - Sovay

if you start here

enter your start and finish points/date/time, and uncheck any form of transport you don't want, you should find it's do-able in about 5h20mn with changes at Leicester and Northampton.
