no
Like bednobs my answer is NO,but I must ask you why you think they might have to?
My GP (when doing an examination) wears disposable rubber gloves,so a wedding ring would not affect it.
What a strange question.
Any hygiene issues are sorted by them wearing disposable gloves.
Why do you ask?

Thank you for your answers! I was discussing infection control with a friend.
Saw my GP this morning and she was wearing hers. I daresay if she has any kind of clinical procedure to carry out, she uses latex gloves.
