Can a person practising as a massage therapist and simultaneously training to be a Chiropractor claim the cost of the Chiropractic course on their business expenses/accounts?

suggest you go have a google at directgov.com they have all sorts of financial and business advice on there I would think claiming for a work related course would be classed as a legit business expense but I don't know the law on this
I think you will struggle to get HMRC to accept this if you are self-employed. See this link.

You have to show that it is necessarily incurred in the performance of your duties - which it isn't.

However if you run a limited company of which you are director (and employee), I reckon you could do it, by putting the costs through the business. Skyline D. - any different view?
