Use any method available for job seeking. Look in local papers, look at the jobs advertised in the job centre (I do it online), network by talking to people you know who have a job, let them know you are looking for work.

Make sure your CV is up to date, have a standard application letter saved on your computer. You can change it to suit the job you are applying for.

Whatever role you are looking for5 in whatever industry, career or trade you should find a dedicated site or two that should send you daily vacancy updates. try looking in more detail through the adresses on your results page after googling for jobs in your field
