jobsite.co.uk
fish 4 jobs
are the 2 main i used, and worked at last back in employment after 8months,

depends on what area you live in really certain sites are for certain areas
For national coverage you might try
Pertemps
Robert Half
totaljobs
inretail
retailchoice

they cover more than just sales actually.
The only 'half decent' ('cos that's the best you'll get) website that I know of is Jobcentre Plus:
http://www.jobcentrep...n&page=/initialise.do
Many employment agencies now put their ads on there (as well, of course, as the ads direct from employers), so it's always worth a look.

Chris
Chris the jobcentre plus website is dire, after 6 weeks on the dole i can say with confidence that it is lacking! In the last 6 years I used them 3 times to advertise vacancies, and each time i could never find where they buried my advert, they sent people in with screwed up application forms that were obviously not interested in working, they only contacted me 3 montsh after i filled the vacancies, after i had already told them i had and asked them to withdraw the ad. Every retail vacancy i applied for came from a dedicated retail jobs site as the jobcentre site confuses retail with sales all the time.
having joined numerous job websites and recruitment agencies a few years ago, my advice is don't bother. they have so many people on their books they can't possibly filter applicants for jobs very well.

the only one I have found to be of use (in my industry of education) is jobs.ac.uk so to have any kind of success, I think you need to find the websites/agencies that are targeting your particular industry.

You would be far better off representing yourself in applying directly for positions advertised in the newspapers. these were the only job interviews and positions I was ever offered and was rarely offered any interviews or job offers from websites/agencies.
jobsgopublic is really good for public sector jobs
Depends where you are in the UK but try:- Gumtree.com and Friday-ad.co.uk and select your nearest town/city, good luck!
