How do I gain experience in e-marketing?

Hi there,

My background is as a Marketing Manager. I am out of work at present and think I might be being held back because of my lack of experience in e-marketing. Hence, I'm looking for an e-marketing qualification or any other ideas on how to gain experience in e-commerce.

I have volunteered my services for free to various charities and volunteer brokers (it's been a while and nothing as yet has turned up) and in the meantime, I've been looking for courses on e-marketing. I need something for a small budget, though, and something that is vocational (not academic).

Have you got any ideas as to how I gain some much needed experience in e-commerce???

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

according to my experience, you need a good combination of three to four skills if you really want to surpass every of the barrier.
1. SEO
2. HTML, CSS, Java, Asp or .net
3. and luckily you have marketing sense
4. creative ideas
