Snow woe eased by dustbin lorries

From Mr Robin Buller.
Sir, Given the chaos created by snow in the UK (too fluffy), perhaps councils should emulate New York City and attach snow ploughs to dustbin lorries, with salt spreaders at the back. This would utilise existing equipment, provide overtime for drivers and relieve the seemingly perennial problems of snow stopping traffic in England during the winter///
