ive been asked to put forward an estimate of how much i would charge to teach a 20hr tefl course over a weekend. the rate starts at 25pound per hour but the bloke is wanting me to give him an overall figure. as i used to be a teacher i worked out my daily rate then if working weekends it would be time and half on saturday and double time on a sunday surely. so, 25 pound per hour equates to 500, should i go any higher and push my look at 900. im sure that the center they have the students are at, ie adult immigrants get lots of gov. and lottery funding as they do all kinds of stuff for immigrants.

thanks charliechan, give me some confidence why dont you! come on then correct what ive written; im normally typing on here in a hurried fashion and without any punctuation, of course i used to teach all my students to do this too!
Seriously? You're going to be teaching English and you *HONESTLY* can't spot any spelling or grammatical mistakes in your original post?

I agree entirely with charliechan. For shame...
